Indicators did also not work and central door locking system would now not operate from key fob. AA did checks but could not resolve although indicators now work!

I also had a random alarm, it started going off for no reason, I took it to the dealer, the Service manager said 99% of the time it is the hood (excuse me, Bonnet) switch, I'd check that first. He charged me $80 for the service, it took about 45 minutes.
