WebDec 22, 2014 · Track run line As far as im concerned there was only one track to race on.It was K&N or later on called Turn 4 at Stafford Motor Speed way.It was 183' runline carpet track .Plenty wide and the bankings were 15 degrees plus or minus.Eight cars starting wern't an issue there .!!!.I miss that place.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
WebAug 28, 2013 · The cost/benefit would be stability (longer wheelbase) vs. agility (shorter wheelbase), all else being equal. Apparently a higher ratio (wheelbase : track width) would be better in high-speed turning while the lower ratio would handle a lot of lower-speed cornering & turn-in better.
