This change will be effective March 1, 2024 for Incline Village and Crystal Bay property owners. WebThe North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District is a career fire district located on the northeast shore of Lake Tahoe. NLTFPD employs 46 career firefighters, ten volunteer firefighters, and 30 additional firefighters during the fire season. The NLTFPD protects and serves the Washoe County, Nevada portion of Lake Tahoe, covering 16 square miles.
