WebJun 27, 2024 · But yesterday I went to use it, and the tailgate just slammed down. (The pic went upside down after I uploaded it here). But that metal piece bent. Have no idea if it was an over time thing (doubt it) or a one time bend. The plastic mold that goes over that crescent section on the metal was present but popped off when it failed.
