So I, in the mfp app, I disconnected Samsung Health as a connected device/track steps, exited out and went to my phone setting, apps, my fitness pal, cleared cache. Went back in to mfp, selected Samsung Health under step tracker and voila! Steps were added. I know not the same app but maybe it will work for you. Good luck
